1960 BMW Isetta 300 For Sale
This unique car was purchased in the summer of 2004 in Montevideo, Uruguay and fully restored by January of 2005. The Isetta was stripped to the chassis and sand blasted. The engine and drivetrain were rebuilt, and all of the electrical including the dynastart were replaced. The interior and exterior were totally restored including replacing the seats and chrome bumpers. Keep in mind this car has one cylinder thats why I left it unspecified. The original miles are somewhere in the range of 40,000 miles, but only has 50 miles since its total restoration. All documents pertaining to the sale of this vehicle as well as its history have been translated from Spanish to English. In one picture I have the documents and a photo album of the restoration process from start to finish totalling over 30 pictures. I have four aftermarket hub caps which are included in the purchase of the isetta. The isetta starts up everytime without any smoke. The car is inspected and is legal to drive in the U.S. The only issue it has is the speedometer can go on or off. The cable should be replaced ,but considering the fastest I would dare to drive would be 40 mph !!! Its an experience in itself.
